Globe SIM Registration: A Step-by-Step Guide

Congratulations on acquiring your new Globe SIM card! To activate it and enjoy its services, you’ll need to register it with Globe. The process is quick and convenient, and you can do it through multiple methods. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you register your Globe SIM:

Before You Begin:

  • Make sure you have your new Globe SIM card and a valid government ID (e.g., Voter’s ID, Passport, Driver’s License).
  • Ensure your government ID has a photo and your complete name on it. The maximum file size for uploading your ID photo is 4MB.

Registration Methods:

There are three primary ways to register your Globe SIM:

1. GlobeOne App:

  • Download and install the GlobeOne app from the Google Play Store or App Store.
  • Open the app and tap on “Register Your SIM.”
  • Select the Globe account you want to register or enter your new mobile number.
  • Wait for the confirmation message containing a one-time PIN (OTP).
  • Enter the OTP in the app.
  • Fill out the registration form with your personal information and choose your preferred Globe SIM registration type (Owner, Authorized Representative for corporations, etc.).
  • Take a selfie using your phone’s camera and upload a clear photo of your valid government ID.
  • Review the information and terms and conditions, then tap “Submit.”
  • You’ll receive a confirmation message from Globe once your registration is successful.

2. Globe Website:

  • Visit the Globe SIM registration page: https://www.globe.com.ph/register-sim-card
  • Enter your new mobile number in the designated field and click “Register.”
  • Wait for the confirmation message with a one-time PIN (OTP).
  • Enter the OTP on the registration page.
  • Fill out the online registration form with your details and choose your Globe SIM registration type.
  • Upload a clear photo of yourself (selfie) and your valid government ID.
  • Click “Submit” after reviewing the information and terms and conditions.
  • Globe will send you a confirmation SMS upon successful registration.

3. Globe Stores:

  • Visit any Globe store near you.
  • Approach a customer service representative and inform them about your intention to register your new Globe SIM.
  • Provide your new mobile number, valid government ID, and any other information required by the representative.
  • The Globe staff will assist you with the registration process and verify your details.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation SMS once your Globe SIM is successfully registered.

Additional Tips:

  • Keep your registration reference number for future reference.
  • You can also text SIMREG <your 10-digit mobile number> to 8080 to confirm your registration details. You’ll receive a confirmation message from Globe.
  • Make sure you register your SIM card within 180 days of activation to avoid service deactivation.
